Riyadh Municipality carried out works for beautifying the tunnels by drawing murals bearing phrases from the national anthem, in the tunnel at the intersection of Prince Muhammad Bin Salman and King Khalid roads, north of the capital, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said Friday. Several Saudi artists participated in the drawing of murals, and their creative works focused on the Saudi identity and national values, in tandem with the Mayoralty's keenness to benefit from creative Saudis as a support for Saudi talents and capabilities and stressing their role in achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030 and its ambitious programs. The painting of murals on the walls of tunnels is one of the initiatives of Riyadh Municipality to improve the urban landscape in the capital and enhance the aesthetic dimension of the roads. This coincides with the qualitative preparations for Riyadh's hosting of the G20 summit, as it will contribute along with many unprecedented steps to achieving the goals of improving the quality of life in the city, by making the best use of various creative arts, to highlight the cultural heritage of the capital and its historical and cultural depth that confirm the Kingdom's position at the global level and depicts the magnitude of the prosperity and development that Riyadh is witnessing.
