The Sea Frontier Guard at the King Fahd Causeway on Friday rescued three Saudi nationals aboard a boat after its motor caught fire. Col. Muhammad Al-Ghamdi, spokesman of the Frontier Guard in the Eastern Province, said that the Frontier Guard patrols also rescued a fishing boat with four Saudis on board when it broke down out in the sea off Ras Tannourah. Al-Ghamdi said the Land Frontier Guard patrols also rescued three persons when their vehicle broke down in the in Al-Batha sector of the Empty Quarter. The car's wheels got stuck in the sand but the passengers were unhurt. The Sea Frontier Guard rescued a youth who was trying to save his sister from drowning at Half Moon Bay.
