NICOSIA — Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan Bin Abdullah affirmed the Kingdom's support for the sovereign rights of the Republic of Cyprus on its territories and called on all parties to resolve disputes by peaceful means and dialogue, in line with the rules of international law. Prince Faisal made this statement during his visit on Thursday to the Republic of Cyprus, during which he met his counterpart, Foreign Minister Nikos Christodoulides. A press release was issued, in which the two sides expressed their satisfaction over the level reached by bilateral relations, and stressed the development of relations in a way that serves the common interests in many fields. As to the Libyan issue, the two sides stressed the need to find a political solution to the situation in Libya and to distance the country from all foreign interference. The two sides also stressed the need to reach a political solution to the Yemeni crisis. In addition, the Cypriot side expressed its condemnation of the attacks carried out by the terrorist Houthi militia on the Kingdom's territories. At the conclusion of the meeting, Prince Faisal Bin Farhan said that he was looking forward to the visit of the Cypriot foreign minister to the Kingdom, soon.
