RIYADH — The King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) has reiterated on Thursday that it is the only authorized entity to receive donations and deliver them abroad. It said that the attempt on the part of some societies and organizations to collect donations for the benefit of some countries, communities, institutions or associations is contrary to the directives issued by the Saudi authorities in this regard. "The directives stipulate that KSRelief is the only authority to receive any relief or charitable or humanitarian donations from governmental and private sources in order to deliver them to the needy people abroad in accordance with the regulations issued in this regard," the Center said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. In the statement, it called on all people not to respond to what is circulating in the form of bulletins or videos on social media platforms seeking donations for the fear of being drawn into suspicious operations that fall within money laundering or terrorist funding and similar acts, and that the donations must be made through the only authorized body — KSRelief. The Center has set up an electronic portal to receive donations in the following address: (donate.ksrelief.org), as well as through text messages to the number (5565). Donors can also transfer their amounts directly to the Center's following bank accounts: Banque Saudi Fransi: SA5655000000099088000563, Bank Albilad: SA6115000999126644880015, Alinma Bank: SA5705000068222222207001. The statement affirmed that the Center is keen on delivering aid to its beneficiaries abroad in accordance with the highest professional standards and financial transparency followed locally and internationally. "The Center has so far worked in 49 countries in various sectors of humanitarian work and it does not deduct any administrative expenses from the collected donations," the statement said while notifying that more information can be had from making a call to +966920008554.
