RIYADH — Mashael Al-Khayal, a member of the Saudi national fencing team, bagged a gold medal in the Virtual Fencing Intercontinental Epee Cup. Saudi Arabia's Nada Abed came third with the bronze medal in the seven-day event, which was organized by the Panamerican Fencing Confederation. A total of 150 players from various parts of the world participated in the virtual championship. Bolivian fencer Louise Maria Bastos came second with the silver medal in the event. It is noteworthy that Saudi Arabia's Modawi Al-Khayyal and Sheikha Al-Dossary have won gold and silver medals in the second virtual fencing championship held in the first week of July.
