RIYADH — Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, deputy premier and minister of defense, on Thursday made a telephone call to Brazil's President Jair Bolsonaro. During the phone conversation, Crown Prince inquired about the health of the Brazilian leader who tested positive for coronavirus early this week and wished him a speedy recovery and good health. For his part, the Brazilian president expressed his thanks to the Crown Prince for his noble gesture. On Wednesday, Bolsonaro posted a video on Facebook of himself taking the drug hydroxychloroquine in his fight against the coronavirus. "For those who root against hydroxychloroquine, but don't present alternatives, I regret to inform you that I'm very well with its use and, with God's grace, I will live for a long time still," the Brazilian president said. The president also told reporters that he underwent a lung X-ray on Monday after experiencing fever and muscle aches. As of Tuesday, his fever had subsided after taking hydroxychloroquine, he said. "I'm, well, normal. I even want to take a walk around here, but I can't due to medical recommendations," Bolsonaro said.
