Eed Clinic Center last week unveiled its future plans for launching the first international treatment unit for obesity and the opening of a new anti-aging department. Prince Miqren Bin Abdul Aziz, President of the General Intelligence, who visited the center, was briefed by Dr. Mohammad Deeb Eed, head of the administration board and Dr. Mohammad Erfan on the future programs. “The opening of the new anti-aging department and the future obesity unit will make our medical center the first clinic in the Middle East to have these two unique facilities,” Dr. Mohammad Eed said. The Center is also planning to open a specialized unit for fertility with the collaboration of Paris University 7 and the Adam Center of Egypt. Scores of highly qualified specialists will be employed from outside the Kingdom to train local doctors on fertility issues. After touring the center and its units, Prince Miqren praised the relentless efforts of the Center which have allowed it to achieve international medical standards. “Saudi Arabia is nowadays considered to be highly developed in the medical field, and this is apparent from such highly equipped centers. Let me also not forget to point out the importance of our local cadre and qualified doctors and specialists. I think that the upcoming phase is going to witness a lot of high standard training and international visits which will help the health care sector in the Kingdom improve its standards,” the prince concluded. The Eed Clinic Center compromises four operating theaters, 10 admission rooms, five plastic surgery rooms, three dermatology clinics, a medical laser unit, four gynecology clinics, a heart diseases unit, an intestinal surgery unit, an orthopedic surgery unit and a dental department. __
