JEDDAH — Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) will operate 60 domestic flights as part of its first phase operation, which is set to resume on Sunday (May 31), the national airline said in a statement. Saudia will accordingly coordinate with the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) to gradually expand its services. The move comes following GACA's nod to national airlines to resume domestic flights after Saudi Arabia eased coronavirus lockdown measures. In the first phase, national airlines resume operations at Riyadh, Jeddah, Dammam, Madinah, Qassim, Abha, Tabuk, Jazan, Hail, Al-Baha and Najran airports. Meanwhile, international flights to repatriate nationals stranded abroad will continue, the statement added.
