MUSCAT — Oman on Thursday reported 322 new coronavirus cases in the past 24 hours, bringing the total number of infections in the Sultanate to 4,341, the country's health ministry said in a statement carried by Omani news agency ONA. The newly detected cases include 80 Omanis and 242 expatriates, the health ministry said. It, however, did not give details on the nationalities of the new cases. With no death reported on Thursday, the total number of COVID-19 related fatalities in the Sultanate stands at just 17. Meanwhile, 14 more patients have completely recovered, raising the number of recoveries to 1,303, according to the ministry. The ministry again called on individuals to adhere to isolation procedures and to social distancing to help prevent the spread of the virus. "With our commitment to health isolation and social distancing, we will prevent ourselves, our families, and our community from the spread of the coronavirus," the ministry said in a statement.
