RIYADH — Saudi Arabia on Friday registered 1,344 new coronavirus cases, raising the total number of COVID-19 infections in the country to 24,097, the Ministry of Health said in a statement. The ministry also said that seven more people have succumbed to the virus in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of deaths in the country to 169. Meanwhile 392 patients have recovered, bringing the total of recoveries in the country to 3,555. More than 200 infections were reported in Riyadh, Makkah and Madinah with 282, 237, 207 cases respectively. Meanwhile, Jubail, Jeddah and Dammam recorded 171, 142 and 114 cases respectively.
