The Arab Parliament praised the efforts being exerted by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman to contain the coronavirus pandemic and face the challenges posed by the pandemic. The Arab Parliament, citied, in this regard, the Monarch's chairmanship of the G20 Virtual Summit, which was held last March. The Arab Parliament condemned, in the strongest terms, the launching of two ballistic missiles by the Houthi militias against Riyadh and Jazan at the end of last month, which were intercepted and successfully destroyed by the Saudi Air Defense Forces. Slamming Turkey for its interference in Libya, the Arab Parliament called on Ankara to respect the Libyan sovereignty and abide by the United Nations arms embargo. It also called on all Libyan parties to cease fire and coordinate efforts to prevent the spread of coronavirus in their country Dr. Mishaal Bin Fahm Al-Salami, the speaker of parliament, called on the UN to take immediate and urgent action to stop deployment of foreign fighters in Libya and establish a clear mechanism for monitoring and maintaining sanctions against the parties fueling the conflict in Libya. — SPA
