Following the visit of Rodolphe Saadé, chairman and chief executive officer of CMA CGM Group, to Saudi Arabia in February, the group reiterates its commitment to strengthen its presence and provide global expertise and know-how in the country, in line with the Saudi Vision 2030 plan. A new direct weekly service between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and East Africa CMA CGM is now offering a direct service between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Kenya and Somalia, by deploying on a weekly basis, four dedicated vessels on this service, with a maiden call in Jeddah on April 17. The first shipping line to call Yanbu port CMA CGM is the first shipping line to call directly Yanbu port. This new service opens a door to Saudi exports and imports from and to Yanbu, one of the fastest growing areas in Saudi Arabia.
