RIYADH — Human Rights Commission president Dr. Al-Awwad Bin Saleh Al-Awwad, held talks with Amal Amélia Lakrafi, French parliamentarian and Deputy Chairman of the French-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee, here on Sunday. Aspects of joint cooperation, particularly in the areas of human rights, and ways to enhance them, came up for discussion in the meeting, the Saudi Press Agtency (SPA) said. They also commended the deep relations between the two friendly countries. Al-Awwad reviewed the efforts of the Kingdom, under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, in supporting human rights. Al-Awwad noted the developments taking place in the Kingdom and the pioneering steps toward achieving sustainable development that makes the human being the center and focus of development according to the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This vision aims to achieve comprehensive development toward a better future for the Kingdom.
