RIYADH — Saudi Arabia is witnessing continuous development at all levels, especially at the cultural level, including developing AlUla, Nathalie Goulet, a member of the French senate, has said. Goulet lauded the Kingdom's important role in the stability and security of the Arab Gulf countries and the region in general, due to its strategic location and large energy reserves and capabilities. She drew attention to the Kingdom's efforts in combating extremism and money laundering, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said. She said: "The Kingdom is exerting great efforts in this aspect and all should be aware of these efforts." She expressed admiration for the Saudi laws and regulations being followed in this regard. "I have seen this quite closely during my visit to the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology (Etidal) and to the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA)," she said. She added: "I saw the huge development and advancement Saudi Arabia has witnessed in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030." She considered the Kingdom hosting the G20 summit as a big opportunity to present itself to the world in a new image.
