Takween Advanced Industries Company, a leading global supplier of plastic conversion technologies, has digitally transformed on SAP's cloud data center to boost the Kingdom's manufacturing sector to $450 billion by 2030 and support the workforce of the future.
In line with Saudi Vision 2030, the government is supporting local manufacturers with the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program. The program is set to attract $450 billion worth of investment in the Kingdom's energy, industry, mining, and logistics sectors, according to the Gulf International Forum, and aims to create 1.6 million jobs for Saudi nationals by 2030.
Supporting the Kingdom's manufacturing sector and job growth, Takween, which manufactures food and medical-grade plastics and non-woven fabrics, has transformed its human resources into a business partner. The SAP SuccessFactors solution, running on SAP's cloud data center, has empowered Takween with real-time dashboards to track employee performance and goals, deliver self-service apps, and recruiting tools.
"With SAP SuccessFactors solutions, we are building greater employee engagement and loyalty that helps our human resources transformation which is an integral part of the organization transformation journey," said Jameel Al Molhem, Managing Director, Takween.
Showing the strong business results, Takween has replaced 24 paper forms with one digital system, leading to employee efficiency increasing by 10 percent, and reducing human resources emails by 70 percent.
"SAP SuccessFactors solutions were our choice because they offered the capacity for growth," said Abdulaziz Al-Yaeesh, Human Resources Manager, Takween. "With SAP SuccessFactors, you can add whatever solution you require once needed – and as new features are developed, they automatically become available."
"Takween's digital transformation on our cloud data center is enabling more than 20 different nationalities to perform at their best, to focus on business innovation in support of government manufacturing goals, and to deliver high-quality plastic products," said Mohammed Alkhotani, Managing Director, SAP Saudi Arabia. "Takween has enhanced its accuracy, trust, and loyalty among its employees, and is supporting the next generation of Saudi business leaders." — SG
