ABHA — The southern region of Asir is soon going to have one of the largest driving schools for women in the Kingdom. Prince Turki Bin Talal, emir of the region, follows up daily the developments of the project about which the announcement was made earlier. Dr. Osama Al-Haizan, CEO of Tatweer Driving School, said the piling and leveling works for the construction of the school have begun at the project site located along King Fahd Road in Abha. The project contractor will start construction works within the coming 10 days. Work will be carried out in two shifts on a daily basis to complete implementation of the project within a short period of time. Al-Haizan said that the driving school project, which is being implemented on an area spreading over 70,000 square meters, would be one of the largest driving schools in the Kingdom. "The training field was designed in cooperation with an Austrian company, one of the largest specialized engineering companies in the world to design and engineer automobile training fields. "The training field has been designed in a way to develop all the skills and exercises approved by the Traffic Department and applicable to all Tatweer schools," he added. The design of the school building has been envisioned, with stress on the suitability as well as keeping the environment of the Asir region to the fore.
