RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman received Chief Executive Officer and Founder of the World Economic Forum (WEF) Professor Klaus Schwab in Riyadh on Wednesday. During the meeting, they reviewed aspects of cooperation between the Kingdom and the World Economic Forum and ways to develop them including the opening of a new technology center affiliated to WEF in Riyadh, considered being the fifth in the world. The meeting was also attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan, Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan, Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban, Deputy Head of the Centre for Geopolitical and Regional Affairs and Head of Middle East and North Africa in WEF Mirek Dusek and Head of Executive Affairs at WEF Chairman's Office Kelly Ommundsen. King Salman also met President Halimah Yacob of Singapore. During the official talks, they discussed relations between the Kingdom and Singapore, as well as opportunities for enhancing cooperation between the two countries in all fields. They reviewed a number of issues of mutual concern. The president expressed her happiness over the visit to the Kingdom and meeting the King. The Monarch decorated Halimah Yacob with the King Abdulaziz Necklace and hosted a luncheon banquet in honor of her. The audience included Emir of Riyadh Prince Faisal Bin Bandar; Minister of the State and Member of the Cabinet Prince Mansour Bin Miteb; Minister of Interior Prince Abdul Aziz Bin Saud Bin Naif; Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal Bin Farhan; Minister of State and Member of the Cabinet Dr. Musaed Al-Aiban; Minister of Commerce and Investment and Acting Minister of Municipal and Rural Affairs Majed Al-Qasabi; Minister of Finance Mohammed Al-Jadaan; and Saudi Ambassador to Singapore Saad Al-Saleh.
