The Minister of Commerce and Investment Dr. Majid Al-Qasabi and the Minister of Economy, Commerce and Industries Isho Suguara witnessed the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030 Business Forum between the Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) and the Saudi Japanese Automobile High Institute (SJAHI). The MoU was signed to support the institute over the next three years following its success and excellence in training youth in the field of car maintenance and applying highest standards for quality training and achieving the Kingdom's vision in supporting young Saudis in the technical field. The MoU shows the deep cooperation and strong relations between Kingdom and Japan, which are based on the principles of the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030 that represents the project of the SJAHI. The institute contributes to transfer knowledge of Japanese cars and work culture to the new generation of Saudi youth. The Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA) supervised the forum that was organized by the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) and the Japan Cooperation Center for the Middle East (JCCME). It aimed to explore business opportunities for Japanese companies to contribute to the governmental and private sectors in the Kingdom. — SG
