Cooperative Office for Call and Guidance at Riyadh will distribute free meals, Qur'an copies, Islamic CDs and organize free Umrah trips for poor pilgrims during Ramadan. “We have special plans for Ramadan. We will distribute copies of the Qur'an and CDs that include religious lectures that answer all questions on fasting,” said Abdulrahman Al-Ajlan, head of the Cooperative Office. Many competitions will also be conducted to test Islamic knowledge, he added. “Such competitions will encourage Muslims to learn more about Islam.” Al-Ajlan said. “We will also give them rewards and gifts” “We have around 492 Muslims including men and women who are still new in Islam and need us to teach them step by step,” Al-Ajlan said. “All of them accepted Islam through our office's efforts. We arranged many Islamic sessions for them in their communities and gave them translated copies of Qur'an, Islamic books and CDs.” __
