Cubs 7, Pirates 1 Nicholas Castellanos, Jason Heyward and Anthony Rizzo homered to help Chicago drub Pittsburgh in the MLB Little League Classic in Williamsport, Pa. Kyle Schwarber added a two-run single, and Kris Bryant an RBI double for the Cubs, who won their second in a row following a four-game losing streak. Wilmer Flores had two hits, including a solo homer, David Peralta also homered, and Adam Jones had two RBIs in his first start in center field this season for Arizona. Giants left-hander Madison Bumgarner (8-8) was aiming to win his third straight start and sixth consecutive decision.
