Japan is dear to all Saudis: MBS Crown Prince tours Hiroshima museum, meets atomic bombing survivor

Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, told Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe during their meeting here on Sunday that Japan is a country dear to the hearts of all Saudis.
The Crown Prince thanked the Prime Minister for the warm reception, stressing that relations between Saudi Arabia and Japan are historical.
The Crown Prince said that everyone is happy with the progress achieved in the past few years in bilateral fields.
He thanked the Japanese Prime Minister for his successful administration of the G20 summit saying, "We will work together to prepare for the G20 Summit 2020 in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."
They discussed prospects for cooperation between the two friendly countries in accordance with the Saudi-Japanese Vision 2030, especially in the economic, trade, investment and cultural fields.
The Japanese Prime Minister praised the Kingdom's progress in accordance with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, pointing to the keenness of the government of Japan and its readiness through public and private sectors to make further efforts and cooperation with the Kingdom.
Crown Prince Muhammad Bin Salman visited on Sunday the Hiroshima Peace Memorial Museum in Japan, which is dedicated to documenting the atomic bombing of Hiroshima in World War II.
According to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Crown Prince toured the museum and viewed a video presentation and pictures of the city of Hiroshima, showing its history prior to the atomic bombing and the destruction caused by it during World War II.
During the tour, the Crown Prince met one of the survivors of the bombing, who witnessed it and shared stories of what happened before, during, and after the atomic bombing of the city.
The Crown Prince was accompanied by a number of princes and ministers, including Minister of the National Guard Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar, Deputy Minister of Defense Prince Khalid Bin Salman, Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan and Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Adel Al-Jubeir. — SG/SPA
