Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — As part of Jeddah Season, Vivaldianno, a unique 3D three-day concert show based on Antonio Vivaldi's authentic baroque music mixed with contemporary rock sound and energy began at Jeddah's Waterfront on Saturday. Vivaldianno City of Mirrors offers a breath-taking multi-genre successful show, a unique concert with 3D animations and Baroque music accompanied by art-rock sound that takes the audience on a fascinating journey through Venice Renaissance, telling the story of the hopes and losses of Antonio Vivaldi, the genius of Baroque times, performing a variety of musical tracks at the show such as the "Four Seasons, Winter, Summer, Spring, Autumn" and his famous violin concerto "Storm. Antonio Vivaldi was an Italian Baroque music composer, virtuoso violinist, teacher, and priest. Born in Venice, the capital of the Venetian Republic, he is regarded as one of the greatest Baroque composers, and his influence during his lifetime was widespread across Europe. He composed many instrumental concertos, for the violin and a variety of other instruments, as well as sacred choral works and more than forty operas. His best-known work is a series of violin concertos known as the Four Seasons. Vivaldi died in Vienna in 1740. Jeddah Season kicked off last week under the motto "The sea and culture", with over 150 local and international activities and events to take place across five main destinations in Jeddah including King Abdullah Sports City, Obhur, Historic Jeddah (Al-Balad), Al-Hamra District and Jeddah Waterfront.
