Saudi Gazette MAKKAH — Arab Coalition spokesman Col. Turki Al-Maliki documented in details the violations being committed by Houthi militias who as a proxy of Iran threaten the existence of Yemen and are dangerous for the security of the region. Addressing a joint press conference with Saudi Arabia's ambassador Mohammed Al-Jaber here on Friday, Col. Turki called the Iranian involvement in Yemen a violation of UN Security Council resolutions. He said Iran is trying to have its influence on the strategic Bab Al-Mandab Strait with the help of Houthi militias, which are the only militias in the world to possess ballistic missiles. These missiles have been provided to them by Iran, which also trains the militias. The Houthis have so far targeted the Kingdom with 225 missiles and 155 drones. Commenting on the recent attack on four oil vessels, Maliki said the Arab Coalition is taking all measures to ensure maritime safety.
