JEDDAH — The Arab Coalition will not tolerate the Iran-backed Houthi militia targeting civilian facilities with drones, Col. Turki Al-Maliki, spokesman of the Coalition Forces Supporting Legitimacy in Yemen, warned on Monday. Speaking at a press conference in Jeddah on Monday, Al-Maliki confirmed that the Arab Coalition has information about all the locations from where the drones are being launched toward Saudi Arabia. He stressed that the Kingdom's security is a red line and those involved in terrorist acts will not escape punishment. Al-Maliki further said that the Houthi militia is continuing to threaten the residential areas with ballistic missiles, and called on the international community to shoulder its responsibility in addressing the threat of Houthi missiles. He added that the Houthi militia is merely a tool in the hands of the Iranian Revolutionary Guard. "We have documented information on the supply of missiles by the Revolutionary Guard to the Houthi militia in Yemen. We have the right to self-defense and resort to military operations to prevent Houthi threats," Al-Maliki said. "The Houthi militia is continuing to pose a threat to maritime navigation in Bab Al-Mandeb. Over 35 Houthi terrorist acts in Bab Al-Mandeb and the Red Sea have been foiled. The Houthi militia is targeting the global economy. We are planning to speed up the military pace to neutralize Houthi threats," he asserted. The Houthi militia is continuing to hamper the work of relief and humanitarian aid organizations. It also has links with terrorist organizations in Africa and the Middle East, Al-Maliki said.
