An exclusive women's festival in which young Saudi girls presented their creative work recently concluded here. The Saudi Female (Saudiyah) Festival with the theme “Where Creations Meet,” was inaugurated by Princess Hissah Al-Sha'lan and was organized by Al-Ibda'a Foundation for creativity in cooperation with the Makkah Society for Disabled Children. Members of the Higher Technical Institute for Girls in Jeddah participated in the event. Samira Andijani, Dean of Jeddah Higher Technical Institute for Girls, pointed out that their participation in the festival was to display the products and creative works produced by members of the institute. The displayed items were “subjective and creative clearly highlighting the importance of supporting Saudi women,” she said. “The government will help these soft hands to prove themselves in all areas,” she added. The festival highlighted the pivotal role technical training for girls plays in enhancing their efficiency, she said. “The local community as well as Arab and international societies will definitely see the achievements of Saudi women in different sectors, including that of girls' training,” Andijani said. __
