Okaz/Saudi Gazette JEDDAH — Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) will operate more than 77,000 domestic and international flights offering a total of 16.8 million seats to meet the rush of travelers this summer. The company disclosed this while announcing its summer schedule, the largest ever in the airline's history. The peak travel seasons of school vacation, Umrah, Ramadan, Eid Al-Fitr and Haj are covered in the schedule lasting 123 days until Sept. 1, 2019. Saudia has scheduled 44,246 domestic flights with 7.74 million seats to various destinations within the Kingdom while it will offer 9.3 million seats on 33,000 international flights to and from 70 destinations around the world during the four-month period. According to Saleh Al-Jasser, the director general of Saudia, the airline will operate 627 domestic and international flights daily with a combined capacity of 136,700 seats.
