Nader Al-Enezi Okaz/Saudi Gazette TABUK — In a family dispute gone wrong, a father dislocated the shoulder of one of his sons, and burned the other with cigarettes. The father's reaction is believed to be the result of a dispute with his wife. His wife had asked for a divorce due the physical abuse at the hands of her husband. Tabuk High Court approved the divorce and ruled that the children could visit their father for three days a month. The father took his sons in last Ramadan, and kept them for a much longer period. During that time he caused the dislocation of his son's shoulder, and burned his other son with cigarettes. Ahmad Al-Johari, Director of Tabuk Social Affairs Directorate, confirmed that the dispute was due to custodial issues. The case has been referred to the governorate and to the judicial authorities. He added that the directorate has evaluated the husband and found him to be in a stable frame of mind.
