RIYADH — As many as 210 players contested in the second edition of Extreme Fitness Championship here recently. During this two-day championship players contested in high-energy fitness challenges under a high adrenaline and lively environment. Brian Matero secured first, Lance Castle second and Abdulrahman Sulaiman third positions in the advance competition. Alaa Al-Kilani won the beginners' round consisting of future champions, while Abdulrahman Mabrook bagged second and Hassan Al-Harbi third positions. A total of 40 participants were nominated under the advanced and beginners categories, respectively. Prince Khaled Bin Al-Waleed, President, Saudi Fitness and Wellness Federation, was the chief guest of the concluding ceremony. He also presented certificates of honor to the winners and organizers of the tournament. Hessa Al-Sagri, board member of Leejam Sports Company, thanked the management of General Sports for its support of the private sector. He also thanked the prince for gracing the event. Company CEO Ahmar Azam lauded the efforts of the organizing committee for conducting a successful event. The participants thanked the management for honoring the winners. They also promised more exciting and challenging competitions in the future.
