Belajio unveils Cafe Trottoir & Outside Catering service
Published in The Saudi Gazette on 10 - 03 - 2013

Captivating ambience.BELAJIO Resort recently introduced its latest projects for 2013 – the Cafe Trottoir and Outside Catering – at its annual dinner gathering, held at Dar Al Qamar Restaurant at the Resort.
The management took advantage of the project's unique location to share with their guests a new experience that can only be encountered in world-famous hubs such as Beirut, Paris, Morocco, etc. This experience consisted of setting up a coffee shop with small tables for 2 – 3 people reserved for families only, along a passage crossing all the way towards the existing restaurants.
The ad hoc cafe stood out with its captivating artistic touch that blended colors with nature through a vivid and dynamic decor surrounded by flowers and plants. Over and above, the new cafe has a breathtaking view of the sea, hence offering its guests a rare opportunity for enjoying the sea and contemplating the sunset.
On this occasion, Sam Jabra'outi, Belajio Resort's general manager, said: “Belajio Resort reconfirms every year its reputation as the favorite destination for all Saudis and foreigners living in Jeddah as well as for the tourists. It started launching new projects with the aim of developing this crucial sector. We are pioneers in introducing new projects in the Kingdom, such as the creation of the biggest Ramadan tent at the Corniche as well as the launching of Cafe Trottoir in an event that was widely welcomed and acclaimed."
“The remarkable development and growth achieved in the Resort was mainly due to our customers' trust, that we earned through constant yearn for ensuring the highest levels of quality in service, dedicated employees, the unique taste of our diverse menu, and the superb location of our Resort."
“Belajio has also launched an outside catering service for parties and events such as birthday and graduation, in addition to renewing its Entertainment City and supporting it with new games for the ultimate pleasure of our kids," he added.
Jad Kassas, Belajio's Marketing Manager, said: “The open air Cafe Trottoir came as a result of a market study that revealed the great need for such a project among our customers. Accordingly, we have allotted a quiet and romantic location within the Resort (a kids' forbidden zone) where our guests can quiet moments and enjoy their favorite beverages, cakes, light sandwiches and Shisha."
During 2012, Belajio had hosted landmark events in both Layalina and Crystal Halls, where a top luxury car brand launched one of its iconic cars in a highly comfortable and lavish atmosphere. — SG
