RIYADH — A professional meet was held by Global Information Security Pakistani Professionals (GISPP) and PhishRod in a local Riyadh restaurant. PhishRod Co-founder and Infogistic CEO Sajjad Kirmani attended this event as chief guest. While speaking to the audience, he said that it was a unique opportunity to meet such a large number of Pakistani information security professionals outside Pakistan and he is very impressed by the zeal and vigor of GISPP members who gathered here on such a short notice. He spoke about the journey of PhishRod from the conception of idea till its progress today and reiterated that one day they will take this company to be recognized as an International brand and it will be a proud moment for Pakistan as the research and development center of PhishRod is Pakistan. GISPP founder Shahzad Subhani also spoke to the audience and requested them to show a soft and positive image of Pakistan wherever they work and promote other Pakistani companies and products . PhishRod local distributer Waqar Anwer also spoke to the audience and offered any kind of support for demonstrations or trials for any prospective customers. Group members exchange pleasantries as well as had technical discussions. They all enjoyed the event and emphasized that such networking events should take place at least on quarterly basis. Many new members had attended such event for the first time and were feeling great while meeting other members. At the end of the event, PhishRod local representative Avais Sohail thanked the audience who attended the event on such a short notice and invited all the members for a sumptuous and delicious buffet which everyone enjoyed.
