The Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief), Dr. Abdullah Al-Rabeeah, recently met with Hadi Tarshan, governor of Yemen's Saadah province. The two officials discussed a range of humanitarian issues, including various programs being implemented by the center in Yemen, particularly in Saadah. In a press statement following the meeting, Tarshan praised KSrelief's ongoing efforts to send extensive assistance to Yemen to help alleviate the suffering of its people. "Today," the governor stated, "we discussed with Dr. Al-Rabeeah some of the humanitarian and relief projects to be implemented in Saadah, including programs to assist internally displaced people (IDPs) living in the governorate." He added that IDPs and residents of Saadah counted on KSrelief as their main source of humanitarian assistance. The Saadah projects are part of the Kingdom's ongoing contribution to ensure the welfare of all Yemenis, he said, while thanking both the center and Saudi Arabia for the continuing support. — SG
