JUBAIL — The Houston-based Baker Hughes, a specialized company in technology, oil and energy services, conducted a recruitment drive at the Jubail Industrial College on Tuesday. A presentation that outlined the areas of work and projects at Baker Hughes that are implemented worldwide, including the functional benefits, training and development programs for current and future employees, was shown. Haitham El Deen, Baker Hughes HR representative, provided detailed information about the company, its inception, vision and mission, the services and products offered in the global market, including Saudi Arabia, which is considered as one of the largest target markets of the company. He related the company's desire to hire JIC graduates and talked of the employment opportunities that await successful candidates. He noted the graduates' high qualification and skills in terms of technical and scientific training that suited the requirements of the company. At the end of the presentation, Baker Hughes representatives and JIC students and graduates took part in a Q&A session. This is the second time Baker Hughes has conducted a presentation at the JIC. Last November, the company had made another presentation that only confirms the company's strong interest to attract the largest possible number of highly-competent JIC graduates in different specializations, the company said.
