JEDDAH – “Live at Atlantis” events are ready for their biggest headline concert of the year on Friday, March 15. Together with Toyota and the team behind the award-winning music festival “Sandance,” the event will take place on the crisp sands of Atlantis beach. British singer, songwriter and former Oasis guitarist Noel Gallagher, ex Verve frontman Richard Ashcroft and BBC Radio One presenter and Ibiza Rocks Musical Director Zane Lowe will be performing live. Gallagher will be performing in the Middle East for the very first time. He will be flying his full band to perform a unique concert of Oasis classics. The Beatles producer George Martin described Gallagher as “The finest songwriter of his generation.” The organizers said you could expect a 10,000 strong singalong on the sand to songs such as “Wonderwall,” “Supersonic,” and “Don't Look Back in Anger.” Ashcroft will be supporting Gallagher with a solo acoustic set. Ashcroft's performance at “Sandance” two years ago is still singled out as one of the festival's best. Lowe will return for another world-class performance at the Atlantis. He is also a renowned DJ who is known for promoting alternative music and non-commercial bands.
