RIYADH – Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah has appointed Prince Muhammad Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz as head of the Crown Prince Court. Prince Muhammad was also named as special adviser to the Crown Prince with the rank of minister, according to a Royal Court statement. Prince Muhammad thanked King Abdullah and Crown Prince Salman for the trust reposed in him. “This trust will be a motivation for further work, guided by the directives of the wise leadership that put the interests of the nation and its citizens on top of its priorities,” he said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. Prince Muhammad prayed to Almighty Allah to enable him to rise to the expectations of the wise leadership as well as to work for the welfare of the nation. Prince Muhammad served the nation in various capacities. Earlier, he was appointed as adviser at the Experts Commission under the Council of Ministers. He was also named as special adviser to Crown Prince Salman, who is also chairman of the board of directors of King Abdulaziz Foundation for Research and Archives (Darah), at Darah. He was special adviser to Crown Prince Salman while he served as Riyadh Emir. – SG
