Khwaja Nasir Jamal JEDDAH — The North Indian Fraternity Forum (NIFF) conducted an in-house sports festival dubbed as NIFF-Himalaya Herbal Badminton and Table Tennis Tournament at Biladi International School here recently. Over 24 players from its sports club vied for honors in the competitions which was played on knockout basis. Wazir Akhtar and Arman Ahmad emerged double champions in badminton, while Najeeb-ul-Haque and Aftab Shah were runners up. In the singles final, Arman Ahmad defeated Rehan Khan. The doubles honors in table tennis went to Rehan Khan and Arman Ahmad. Rehan Taj Khan and S.P. Singh were runners up. Rehan Khan bagged the singles tile, defeating Sajjad Qasim. In the juniors category, Hardeep Singh claimed the badminton singles title after beating Abdullah Nasir Jamal. Match officials were Vijender Singh and Jayant Singh. The tournament committee included Fuzail Ahmad, Khwaja Nasir Jamal, Waquar Ahmad, Feroz Khan and Prakash Rana. NIFF Patron Farzan Rizvi and Adviser Athar Rizvi awarded the prizes to the winners. The NIFF committee extended its thanks to sponsors Himalaya Herbals and Al-Kabeer.
