JEDDAH — The Consulate General of India, Jeddah, will hold an “Open House” at its premises in Jeddah on Thursday from 11.30 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. The Consulate attaches high priority to the welfare of the Indian expatriate community residing under its jurisdiction and with the intention of establishing a direct and one-to-one interaction with the consul general and his team of consuls, the mission has set up this event. During the “Open House,” members of the community can directly meet the consul general and other consuls to discuss their grievances/issues related to consular, welfare and labor and seek redressal of the same. All members of the Indian community are welcome to attend the “Open House.” Consular Visit In another development, a team from the Consulate General of India, would be visiting Taif on Thursday to provide consular services (limited to attestation and passport services not being provided by the outsourced agencies) to Indian nationals, from 0900 to 1300 hours and 1700 to 2000 hours at Hotel Al-Barroq Tel. (No. 02-7360610). Indian nationals residing in the area may, therefore, avail the opportunity to apply for consular services, to meet the visiting officials and also to convey their grievances/suggestions, if any, relating to labor and welfare issues. They should bring along with them written statement narrating their problems for redressal of their grievances, including consular related services. — SG
