An African national, considered the biggest liquor peddler in Asir Region, was nabbed here on Friday. About 180 large liquor bottles were also seized from him. Officials of the Commission for Promotion of Virtue and Prevention of Vice in the Industrial Estate of Khamis Mushayt arrested the bootlegger as he was reportedly entering into a deal with a Saudi national to work with him for a SR17,000 per month salary. In turn, the Saudi youth was supposed to provide the alleged bootlegger with transportation and facilities for storage of liquor. The African national, an illegal resident, initially resisted arrest by the Commission's men. He has now been handed over to concerned authorities for complete investigations. The seized liquor bottles were also destroyed. – Okaz __
