TAIF — The Ministry of Agriculture has banned import of pepper from India, a local newspaper reported. Tests revealed the presence of pesticides in samples of the pepper. The ministry has said an official certificate should accompany shipments of pepper that testifies traces of pesticide are within acceptable limits. The decision will become effective later this year.
