The Ministry of Higher Education will start accepting applications for the third phase of the internal scholarship program in private universities and colleges in the Kingdom from Sept. 1 through Oct. 22. The ministry will pay in scholarship tuition fees only. Candidates must have a secondary school certificate with very good grades and successfully pass the general and special aptitudes tests with at least 65 percent. Students who have completed one semester in college with very good grades will be granted a full scholarship in several specializations including medicine and dentistry (100 percent of the tuition fees up to SR60,000 per year). In specializations like pharmacology, physical and applied sciences, and nursing, the student will get 100 percent of tuition fees up to SR50,000 per year. As to engineering, computer sciences, information technology, and other specializations in applied sciences, the student will get 100 percent of the tuition fees up to SR40,000 per year. As to management, accounting, and law, the student will get 100 percent of the tuition fees up to SR20,000 per year.
