DAMMAM — The open trial of a defendant accused of inciting riotings in Al-Qateef started Monday. The court session headed by Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ja'fari, Chairman of the District Court, began with Abdulwahab Muhammad Al-Dayil, Prosecutor General in the Bureau of Investigation and Prosecution, detailing charges against the accused. The case was adjourned to March 10 after the defendant sought some time to reply to the charges leveled against him. Several journalists and a representative of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) were present during the court proceedings. — SG/SPA
