This refers to the Pakistan Interior Minister Rahman Malik's demand for India to provide actor Shahrukh Khan security, while calling on Islamabad to be more concerned about the minorities living in India and Jamat-ud-Da'wah chief Hafiz Saeed's invitation to Khan to migrate to Pakistan. It is absolutely shocking to see interlopers Rahman Malik and Hafiz Saeed suddenly trying to pull the communal strings and create discord among the ethnic groups of secular India. No Muslim can deny that Muslims are much safer in India — compared to other countries in the world — and enjoying all the rights, privileges of citizenship, full liberty in practicing their religion and religious obligations which have been guaranteed by our Constitution. Rahman Malik and Saeed should ponder and evaluate the reasons why Muslims in Pakistan are being killed either by deliberate bombing or by indiscriminate firings that led to the deaths of innocent Muslims. These two leaders should act to save Muslims in Pakistan and not look across the border when their own house is not in order. Approximately 22 billion Muslims are living peacefully with other ethnic communities in India. Unfortunately, this peace is always tested and disturbed by outside interference. Indian Muslims have one of the best education systems in India and we have benefitted from that. Indian Muslims should work shoulder to shoulder with other communities to make India a proud and progressive country in the comity of nations. Mir Gazanfar Ali Zaki, Jeddah
