JEDDAH — Zain KSA, operator of the latest telecommunication network in Saudi Arabia, announced that the Saudi Industrial Gas Co. (SIGAS), a subsidiary of The Linde Group, has joined the company's Business Services segment. SIGAS has transferred its connections in the Kingdom to Zain following the establishment of the strategic partnership between Zain and Vodafone, the world's leading mobile operator by revenue. Vodafone already provides telecommunications services to The Linde Group around the world via Vodafone Global Enterprise. By transferring to Zain KSA, SIGAS now enjoys the same service levels committed by Vodafone to Linde Group in all its countries of operation Zain KSA noted that this agreement is an extension of the services it provides to the business sector, confirming its intention to raise the operational efficiency of private enterprises, by offering communication solutions, communications expenditure tracking and procurement services, which helps them achieve higher productivity and quality rates. SIGAS, which employs about 400 people, is the second biggest industrial gases company in Saudi Arabia, and the first to be set up in the Kingdom. Linde products and services can be found in nearly every industry, in more than 100 countries worldwide. Zain KSA has activated several aspects of the strategic partner market agreement recently signed with Vodafone.
