LOS ANGELES – Hollywood actors named their picks for the best performances of 2012 in film and television at the annual Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards on Sunday in a ceremony that will likely define some of the top Oscar races in four weeks time. Jennifer Lawrence won the award for best actress from the Screen Actors Guild on Sunday. Lawrence won for her role as a young widow in the film "Silver Linings Playbook." Daniel Day-Lewis won the award for best actor from the Screen Actors Guild on Sunday. Day-Lewis, who was raised in Britain, won for his intense portrayal of U.S. President Abraham Lincoln in movie drama "Lincoln." The SAG honors are chosen by some 100,000 actors working in the United States SAG also hands out awards for performances in TV dramas, comedies and mini-series. – Reuters
