14 arrested in mobile phone racket

The Criminal Investigations Department (CID) took 14 people into custody for selling and buying mobile phones from unidentified sources in Al-Azizia market.
The CID received several reports of mobile phone thefts in different parts of Makkah. Nine, out of the 14, were Saudi and were released after police investigated them. The remaining five, Bangladeshis and Pakistanis, are being held for further investigation at Al-Azizia Police Station, said Maj. Zaki Salim Al-Rehaili, Makkah Police spokesperson. – Okaz __
