MADRID — Real Madrid held on to prevail over Real Sociedad 4-3 in the Spanish league Sunday, despite coach Jose Mourinho keeping goalkeeper Casillas on the bench gain. Earlier, striker Iago Aspas scored a double to lead Celta Vigo to a 3-1 win over Valladolid, the first home victory for the promoted club in three months. Aspas opened nine minutes in with a well-placed curling shot to cap a counterattack. Alberto Bueno leveled for Valladolid two minutes later after Celta goalkeeper Javi Varas fouled Javi Guerra in the area. But Aspas restored Celta's lead for good at the half-hour mark by earning and converting a spot kick, before Alex Lopez secured the three points with a long strike in the 52nd. Celta's second win in 11 rounds lifted it three points above the relegation zone. Valladolid stayed in 11th place. — Agencies
