year-old teenager accused of 21 robberies has been referred to a psychiatric hospital by Hafr Al-Batin police for examination. The teenager confessed to committing 21 robberies under threat from a head of a 10-member gang. He admitted to stealing SR70,000 from one shop. He also stole several sheep and pigeons, mobile phones, jewelry, an air conditioner and several prepaid mobile phone cards from various stores. Colonel Abdul Aziz Al-Sulaiman, assistant spokesperson for the Eastern Province Police, said the parents of the teenager said the teenager was mentally ill. Al-Sulaiman said if he is proven to be mentally ill he will be dealt with accordingly. - Okaz __
