The results of University of Cambridge International Examinations for ‘A' Levels and IGCSE published on 10th August 2008 confirm yet another year of impressive academic attainment by the students of the Bangladesh International School (English Section) in Jeddah. The exceptional achievers in the IGCSE exams who gained 8 A* grades were Samiha Sultana, Mohammed Salman Islam and Mohammad Rayyan Fasry. A previous Saudi Gazette report did not name the top achievers. A total of 79 students appeared for the examinations. Sixty two percent of the candidates entered at GCE ‘A' Level. Among the exceptional achievers at GCE ‘A' Level was Abdullah Mohammad Salimullah who gained 4 grades A and 1 grade B. Two other exceptional achievers included Taha Mubashir who gained 3 grades A and 1 grade B and Umme Humaira Jashim Uddin who gained 3 grades A and also 1 grade A at AS Level. The remaining exceptional achievers who were awarded 7 A* grades were Farhan Adib Ahmed, Muhammad Shafile Rashid, Munjer Mohammed Hashim and Rumana Rafiq Ullah. __
