A fire broke out at a residential building in Al-Ejazah district, late Friday night. A Nigerian woman fell sustaining fractures while trying to escape. Four people suffocated from smoke inhaltion. In another incident, a fire destroyed dozens of fruit-bearing palm trees spread over an area of 6000 square meters, Saturday. Firefighters fought the fire for three hours, said the spokesperson of Madina's Civil Defense. Such fires in Khaibar have occurred six times in the last two years and their cause remains unknown.
