Police found the body of a Saudi in an empty house in Al-Mansour district Saturday. Al-Mansour police station had received complaints from residents for several days complaining about a bad smell coming from one of the apartments. “We received several complaints about the smell so we needed to find out what it was,” said Zaki Al-Rehaili, spokesperson for the Makkah Police. He said the body was of a 60-year-old Saudi man who was left alone in the apartment. “His children traveled to Riyadh and left him alone in his (apartment),” Al-Rehaili said. “He was suffering from diseases for a long time, since he was alone nobody knew he had died several days ago, not even his family.” Police are investigating the incident to find out if foul play was involved. __
