JEDDAH – A Saudi company specializing in travel, tourism and hotels, announced plans for further international expansion amid high growth. At a function honoring its agents in Egypt, Algeria, Turkey, Morocco, Indonesia and Malaysia for positive results this year, Elaf Group President Ziyad Bin Mahfouz confirmed Elaf's plans to expand its business to have more agents across the major countries with Muslim population. Bin Mahfouz revealed that the group's dealers outside Saudi Arabia, mainly in Egypt, Algeria, TurkeyMorocco, Indonesia and Malaysia have done exceedingly well in serving the increasing number of pilgrims coming to Saudi Arabia during the 2012 Umrah and Haj seasons. He said increasing demand helped raise revenues from airline bookings and hotel reservations throughout Makkah and Madinah while other sources boosted the performance of services such as car rentals, visa issuances and Haj permit processing. The agents efficiently facilitated the arrival and return of pilgrims in full accordance with the laws specified by the General Administration for Pilgrimage (Haj) and Islamic Endowments. “The success of Elaf Group is closely linked with the performance of our valued dealers across the region, which makes it important to reward and motivate our dealers who perform consistently year-on-year. The outstanding performance of our dealers during this Haj season was another example of how they share our vision for quality and excellence, which are central to sustained success,” Bin Mahfouz said. The event was attended also by heads of various departments of the group. — SG
